Today on Storytime with Angel, I read chapter 9 in my first collaborative book Love Warriors. I share my experience travelling to Denmark to support my athlete that made the World Age Group team for Canada, as the youngest athlete on the team that year. Balancing one of the darkest moments of my life, with one of my greatest accomplishments in the sport. Healing happens in spirals and it's so interesting for me that this story wanted to be read today. Enjoy!

OOhhh, this one got meh! I haven't listened to this story out loud in years. It hit deep as I lived it while @Kristina Skye read Emoke Molnar's experience working with me. I was surprised at my emotional response and feel humbled and grateful to be reminded of the work I do, the power it holds, and the strength I have when I am in that aligned space. As I work through this PTSD space and am starting to come out the other side...these reminders are so important to put your attention to spaces where you are loved, held and celebrated. Today I read Chapter 20 from the Shamanic Leadership book - Service Through Leadership - Leading from the heart as your new way of life. A profound testimony from one of my students as she navigated psychosis after childbirth. It can affect anyone. This story is a reminder that we never know what some humans have been through and how important it is to have a care team surrounding you, not only for your safety, but for your children's safety as well.

This chapter hits deep as the 1 year anniversary of my divorce just passed and this Xmas will be the last "first" without the family we spent 3 years creating. The firsts are always the hardest, and as I share in this story about the medicine of the breath...I look forward to full breaths, and a life full of love and abundance after this harsh initiation 🌟 Thank you for witnessing my story.
