How To…
If you’re looking for more personal 1:1 writing help, this is the place! - Once a month you send in 20 pages with a few questions. - We share questions in the chat that could help other writers. - I read and then give you an email response. - You sit with the suggestions. - Mid- month we have a 1:1 video call. - Also I plan on hosting a group call with our questions and brainstorm together. - I’ll post relevant tips and tools each week. - You’ll post goals, steps, and be held on track by the small cohort. - Repeat!

Who is ready to start?
- Send in your 20 pages this weekend if you can. - Post your questions about the submission here so we get to see what we’re figuring out together. It helps us all. - Help each other and answer those posts. - Sunday we have a welcome group chat on Zoom. A bit of a Q&A. - Next week I’ll email you my suggestions and answers re your work.

Who is ready to start?
This is my first novel, I usually write memoir.
I mostly just want to work one on one. I have those 500 pages and have been revising quite a bit, starting at the beginning and could send you a couple of chapters soon.
Revision Tip
When you have a section, a paragraph you're not sure of, read it out loud. Record yourself. Come back later that afternoon and then listen. How does it flow? How does it sound to you? This is a great tip from @Kimberly Davis who suggested it in the other group. Try it. I find it one of those easy to do things that helps more than expected. It shows me when something feels clunky, or the sentences all have the same rhythm. (A problem with AI 'writing' is its pace and rhythm.) Anyway, I'm curious to see if you do this too. and yes, my dogs love me reading to them in the mornings...
