Hi ! My name is Stephanie I’m brand new to school . I myself am a type 1 diabetic , my fiancee is an addict in recovery , and we share 5 special needs kiddos “two are his , three are mine “ . We are a beautiful blended family who have been through an unconventional amount of things “most adults wouldn’t experience in their lifetimes “ and we want to share how we have continuously found our light in the middle of everything that life has thrown at us , as we continue down the path we just have to trust and believe god has put us on . My mission is to be a positive light and energy for anyone who just doesn’t know how or can’t find the reason behind the battle they are up against , and are questioning wether or not they have the strength to overcome it . Even if we haven’t been through it , we want people to know that they aren’t alone and that we can go through it together . The world isn’t built for parents of any capacity right now , and it certainly isn’t built for special needs parents . If you can imagine, it is incredibly hard to find a full time work opportunity that is flexible enough to accommodate our kiddos needs and because of that my fiancée is the only one of us able to work full time. Despite that , he will still be joining me whenever he can. Not only is this is an idea we have both been working on together for quite some time , but there are also parts of his story that I will just never be able to tell . Even though I am unable to work in a “normal” way , I also just started a photography business and this is the next step in working for myself alongside my fiancee to support our family by helping others, which is something that has always been a passion of mine . Also : I’m just about sick and tired of being told I will never be good enough , and ONLY because my 5 beautiful babies need a little extra love . A few to many someone’s told me it’s time for us to share our story , energy , and light as a means of helping others write theirs , and here we are 🌻
