Every builder here can make something work on their machine. This course is about everything after that: getting it live, keeping it live, and knowing exactly what it is doing when you are not looking.
You follow one product all the way through. Kestrel Books, an order management tool for an online bookseller. You deploy it, instrument it, load test it, break it on purpose at 3am, respond to the incident, write the postmortem, and hand it over like a professional.
By the end you will be able to:
☐ Ship to production with proper environments, secrets and reproducible builds
☐ Run CI/CD pipelines, canary releases, feature flags and zero-downtime migrations
☐ Roll back cleanly, and know the rare cases where you must roll forward instead
☐ Read logs, metrics and traces like instruments, not noise
☐ Set alerts that wake you for real problems and nothing else
☐ Define SLOs and error budgets, run incidents calmly, and write blameless postmortems
☐ Operate client systems as an FDE: runbooks, handover packs, reliability reviews, and when to say no to a launch

This pairs directly with the FDE tracks. Deployment gets you the demo. Observability and reliability get you the renewal.
