How Was Church Resurrection Sunday?
I have been looking for a new church for a little while now. The church I've been going to has been my home for 12 years. It's not the church I started going to 12 years ago. We have stopped growing. We are on our 3rd pastor since I have been there. Anyway I just dont feel the Spirit there like I used to. Today I go go another church, expecting nothing in particular. I was blown away. The pastor was preaching out of the book of John but was also teaching. I think we all know that numbers mean something in the Bible. The number 7 is what the sermon was about. "I am" was said by Jesus 7 times in the gospel of John. Going back to Moses and burning bush. Moses asked who should I say sent me? God said "Just tell them your sent by I Am". Fascinating. That is the style of preaching I like.
