Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith.
And this is not your own doing;
it is the gift of God,
9 not a result of works,
so that no one may boast.
Grace is a free gift from God. Your faith in Christ is all you need for grace. I hear it at times people are trying to earn Grace. Many new believers dont realize the free gift once they give their life to Christ.This verse I learned about by reading the Bible. I didn't have a person to mentor me after I was saved. I was a new Christian on my own. It's important to get into the Word everyday.
