Isaiah 43:18-19
God asks Israel to stop rehearsing the past because He's already doing something new. Grief and hope can coexist.
The past is meant to stay in the past for a reason. No matter what we do, we can't go back and change what happened. God has gone ahead of us and prepared something new.
