When we talk about forgiveness, we usually think about somebody else. Your spouse. Your child. Your family. Your coworker. Your pastor. The person who hurt you. But sometimes the person we need to forgive is ourselves. Forgive yourself for the commitment you did not keep. Forgive yourself for the day you did not pray like you planned. Forgive yourself for being late again. Forgive yourself for not following through. Forgive yourself for the mistake you keep replaying. Sometimes we speak to ourselves in ways God would never speak to us. And then we carry the disappointment, frustration, and anger from one day into the next. Hebrews 11:1 reminds us: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith also means believing God is still working in you, even when you have missed the mark. So today, extend some of that forgiveness to yourself. Learn from it. Make the adjustment. Try again. But stop sentencing yourself for something God is giving you grace to grow through. Sometimes the forgiveness we need to extend starts with us.

As you begin this new week, remember: you do not have to have everything figured out to keep moving forward. Sometimes progress looks like a big breakthrough. Other times, it looks like getting up, trusting God again, and taking the next step. Do not allow what did not happen last week to determine what you expect from this week. God is still working. There is still purpose in you. There are still opportunities ahead of you. And there is still time for things to come together in ways you cannot yet see. “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” — Luke 1:37 KJV Go into this week expecting God to guide you, strengthen you, and give you wisdom for what is ahead. New week. New grace. New opportunities. Keep going.

Victorious faith does not mean you will never face a battle. It means the battle does not get the final word. God does. 📖 1 John 5:4 (KJV) “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” There will be times when what you see does not match what you are believing God for. There will be waiting seasons, difficult decisions, closed doors, and moments when fear tries to speak louder than faith. But victorious faith says: I still trust God. I will keep believing. I will keep moving forward. I will remember what God has already brought me through. 📖 1 Corinthians 15:57 (KJV) “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Today’s declaration: I have victorious faith.
