Snakes on a farm
Ok. So I'm one of those weirdos who love snakes. Any animal, fur, feather or scale, is of interest to me. They take me on a deep dive of hyper-focus so I can learn all about them.
This is our resident EB, Eastern Brown, who seems ever so confident being in the house yard.
Geese absolutely have it all over Guinea fowl when it comes to snakes. Being on a property, we see loads of snakes. Keelbacks are the most common, followed by the yellow faced whipsnake, red belly blacks, tree snakes, and our feed shed python, Hiss.
When you see a snake, give it space and it'll go on about its business.
Just like this beauty 😍
What's your favourite snake? If it's not here, add it in the comments.
I love the water pythons. That gorgeous rainbow sheen. Maybe where the dreamtime story the Rainbow Serpent came from 🤔
