My first facilitation workshop
After I prepared myself with all the available stuff like the Masterclass, the Sprint book etc it was time to start. First I bought all the office supplies like the post-its and markers and was finally ready for a jump start.
I was kind of scary the first time. The advantage was that all the team members experienced this type of workshop for the first time as well so that made a big difference. After I explained the content of the workshop I started drawing the sailing boat, with the anchor and waterline:) I asked the first question:"what things are helping this company forward?" I set the time and we were off! It was really amazing to see how everyone in the team with great enthusiasm started to fill the post-its.
After the boat fase we moved forward and after two hours we managed to project some real solutions for issues that have been there for a while. It is really a big step forward to use a workshop to solve issues within a company. The team was amazed about the outcome.
This first workshop gave me the opportunity to build experience and I can say it is great to work with teams in this way.
After my first workshop I already had 4 more and I'm know wondering how to find new customers. What are your thoughts on that?
