Did you know…
Did you know you can have a complete vision exam with an ophthalmologist and it is considered a medical exam? You may be charged a small fee of $35 for your refraction or prescription for glasses, which you can have billed to your vision insurance! Medicare doesn’t cover glasses or contact lens nor the prescriptions for corrective eyewear, except one time and only one time, and that is when you get you prescription for corrective lenses, (glasses or contacts) after having cataract surgery, and no other time.
