🌹 Sometimes Life Just Knocks the Wind Out of You.
Sometimes life changes so fast it doesn't even feel real. One day you know exactly who you are and where you're going — and the next you're wondering what to do with yourself. When I was in what I can only describe as a tidal wave of molasses, everything felt heavy. Even deciding what to do next felt impossible. My mind wouldn't stop racing, my heart hurt, and I didn't know what to do with my body, my thoughts, or where to begin. What helped wasn't trying to solve my whole life. It was taking one deep breath. Moving my body — even just a walk around the block. Calling a friend, even if we sat together in silence. And little by little, I started paying attention to the words I was saying out loud — and the ones I was saying to myself — because I realized they mattered. If you're feeling overwhelmed today, you're not alone. You don't have to have all the answers. Just take one small step. What's one small thing you've done — or could do today — that helps you catch your breath and move forward? xoxo Quinn
