Hi All,
I’m Cyndie Lou and I split my time between NYC and the east end of Long Island. I’ve drawn and painted my whole life which lead me to becoming a graphic designer out of college. During the short time that I was at an agency, one of my clients who was a makeup artist said I’d be really good at doing makeup. I never had any interest in it. One day he talked me into coming to a shoot and surprised me by “needing to run errands” while the two models were there and told me to do their makeup. Instinct from my art background took over and, 30 years later, here I am as a professional makeup artist. Beauty, character, fx, etc mostly for television. I do, however, very much miss filling my own cup with my own art and am here to reconnect with that. Thank you, Sarah, for creating this community!
