Weekly WISE: Choosing Joy, Building Better Connection, and Keeping Your Skool Simple
Highlights, Takeaways, & Transcript in the Classroom here: #2026 01 10
This Weekly WISE Saturday Session comes from a hotel with unstable Wi-Fi.
The signal drops, the screen rearranges itself, and the stream gets choppy.
And still, the points are powerful.
Life gets choppy sometimes.
That’s why the frequency of practicing this simple reset is key:
Breathe. Smile. enJOY.
It’s a switch.
A state change that opens the door for better choices.
When someone gets pulled into worry stories, anxiety loops, and catastrophizing, the system tightens.
It becomes harder to see options. Harder to act. Harder to lead.
Whether you name yourself LEADER or not, you are leading.
Leading a household. Leading a team. Leading a business.
Leading yourself through the day, day by day.
This episode also introduces a practical “fast help” option: a few sopts still available for the New Year $100 Catalyst Session (two hours) Like a mini VIP day, and it can be used for different kinds of forward motion: year planning, daily joy practice, Skool setup, or sorting out what kind of Skool presence fits your world.
From there, the session moves into two connected tracks:
Client Connection Hub
A space geared toward wellness service providers (massage, chiro, physio, acupuncture, healers) and adaptable for other small businesses. The focus is strengthening relationships and creating a steady way to stay connected beyond appointments or transactions.
Community Growth Support Hub
A working support container built around the places communities commonly get sticky: unclear structure, weak engagement loops, confusing onboarding, too many offers (or none), and no clear member journey.
One of the most useful shifts in this episode is the “member hat” check.
Step out of owner mode.
Experience your community like a brand new person would.
Skool’s newer “view as non-member” feature makes that easier, and it’s a fast way to spot what feels unclear or overwhelming.
From there, the fundamentals come back into focus:
  • Your discovery card (title, image, short description)
  • Your about page (simple is fine, even one strong line can work)
  • Your welcome post (invites introduction and sets tone)
  • A Start Here module (orientation)
  • A simple 5-day engagement path (prompts participation and gives you feedback)
The episode includes an example build (Lisa’s Fit Body Mind community) to show what clean structure can look like in the wild: clear sidebar links, simple about copy, a testimonial, a video, and a QR that points where you want people to go.
Even on sketchy Wi-Fi, progress still happens.
Breathe. Smile. enJOY.
