When you really need the 'village'
Well, just to top off an otherwise horribly busy week - now my son has caught some sort of virus...just before the holidays too! Who could have guessed? 🫣
At least I don't feel totally alone: I found out on the parent WhatsApp group that out of a class of approx 22 kids, only 8 turned up today for their Christmas concert - everyone has caught this thing!
I can certainly tell you though, that when you're child is sick and you have to work, this is when you really appreciate the 'village' - if any - that you have. In my case, his nonno and nonna!
Any memories of needing the 'village'? Or maybe providing one? Would love to hear your stories.
