Side Panel comments now requiring a command?

Until yesterday, whenever I used the side panel for commenting, I simply put the cursor in the comment field of the post I want to comment on, and in the side panel I selected AI Writer, purpose of the post, tone and persona, selected the AI LLM, and clicked "Generate"

Now, I can't click Generate because it is grayed out. A command is now required. This does not seem to be a great idea. I believe this is a bug. Anyone else seeing this?

I am submitting a support ticket.
