Just a reminder, everyone: we’re getting an increasing number of people requesting to join who appear to be high-risk spammers.

Please take a moment to discern whether someone is genuinely interested in becoming a contributing member before approving them. As you know, we’re very community-minded. It’s not simply about growing our numbers; it’s about creating a space where we can encourage one another, share value, and provide something that benefits the majority.

For example, I currently have someone requesting to join who has answered two of the membership questions with letters that don’t make any sense.

Because I can’t determine their intentions or whether they genuinely understand what they’re joining, I’m not comfortable approving the request at this stage.

So please be mindful when reviewing membership requests. We want to protect the quality, safety and culture of the community while making sure we’re welcoming people who genuinely want to be part of the village.
