Clear Record of Communication Regarding Patchy

I’m putting this in writing so that there is a clear record of what has been discussed and what has occurred.

Victoria wants to handle the situation regarding Patchy as maturely and respectfully as possible. She has been advised by Uncle Charlie’s lawyer that she needs to discuss the matter with Charlie before taking Patchy, rather than simply arriving and taking him, given how long Patchy has been with Charlie.

Victoria has therefore been trying to arrange a time to speak with Charlie and let him know when she intends to come to collect Patchy. However, Leah has told Victoria that she is not to come back into the house and that she has no business speaking with her father, Charlie.

This puts Victoria in a difficult position because she is trying to follow the advice given by Charlie’s lawyer. We had hoped that everyone could put their personal differences aside long enough to deal with this particular matter calmly and respectfully.

The lawyer has also asked that the outcome of these discussions be communicated back to Charlie’s lawyer. For that reason, it is important that there is a clear written record of the attempts being made to resolve this matter properly.

This is not intended to create further conflict. The intention is simply to follow the legal advice that has been given, communicate with Charlie appropriately, and deal with the situation as maturely as possible.

We're only trying to get some things settled. Not trying to cause any drama.
