A new kind of weekend!
My weekend used to be spent with people whom I didn’t care for in fact who I didn’t even like all four the common bond of using a substance. Today I try to spend my time around people who are bettering their lives, not tearing me down. What’s your experience?

NEW YEAR- NEW YOU.
New Year. New Me. You’re going to hear that phrase everywhere right now. Gyms will be packed. Calendars will be fresh. Motivation will feel high. But here’s the truth most people won’t say: A new year doesn’t magically create a new you. Change doesn’t come from flipping a calendar page. It comes from the small decisions you make when no one is watching. The quiet choices. The uncomfortable moments. The days you don’t feel motivated but show up anyway. “New me” isn’t about becoming someone completely different. It’s about becoming more honest. More consistent. More willing to do the work. It’s about asking yourself: What am I done tolerating? What do I need to stop running from? What does the next right step actually look like? You don’t need a perfect plan. You don’t need to do everything at once. You just need to start. This year isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress. It’s about building a life you don’t need to escape from. If you’re here, you’re already doing something right. Let’s take this year one day at a time — together

I’m really glad you’re here.
This space exists for real people doing real work: rebuilding life after addiction, trauma, or codependent patterns. No perfection required. Just honesty, effort, and community. Let’s kick things off by getting to know each other Please reply to this post and share: 1-What should we call you? (Name or nickname — whatever feels right) 2-Where are you at in life right now? (Recovery stage, healing from trauma, rebuilding after a tough season, or simply searching for something better) 3-Three positive things about you These can be big or small. If this feels uncomfortable, that’s okay — that’s part of the work. Examples: resilient, honest, caring, curious, showing up, still trying, good parent, loyal friend, creative, willing. 4-One thing you’d like to work on Something you want to grow in while you’re here. Examples: boundaries, consistency, self-trust, patience, self-worth, communication, emotional regulation, accountability. There’s no judgment here. No comparing timelines. No “right” way to recover. We recover together, and we do it out loud. Thanks for being brave enough to be here.
