Often times a major life change comes with feelings of great discomfort and confusion. It feels like a long dark night. You may feel empty, like everything that once gave you comfort or made up your identity was folly, or an illusion. Don't fear the long night because it may be the beginning of a new you. Jung believed that people who become unstoppable always feel completely lost right before the breakthrough. Don't run back to what feels familiar, stay in the dark until your eyes adjust and you see your new path. Be strong and embrace the uncertainty.
