🧺 Symbols as Mirrors, Not Maps
One of the biggest shifts in my own journey has been how I relate to symbolic systems.
I used to look at them asking, "What is going to happen?"
Now I find myself asking, "What has happened? What patterns do I recognize? What has already taken root?"
Whether it's astrology, mythology, dreams, art, or everyday life, I've become less interested in prediction and more interested in reflection.
Today I came across the image of the Basket. My birthday happens to fall right in the middle of the dates being discussed.
Rather than seeing it as a prediction, it became a meaningful mirror.
I realized:
My basket is full of seeds. Some are already planted. Some are already growing. 🌱🧺
For me, symbolic literacy isn't about letting symbols tell us who we'll become.
It's about using symbols to better recognize who we're already becoming.
Observe. Reflect. Embody.
