Today started with crickets.
Then cicadas.
Then Snowballer discovered a new box filled with old toys.
Then I looked over at Fancy, my plant, and realized one day she'll need a larger pot—not because she's changing, but because she's growing.
That led me to a simple observation:
Growth isn't always about becoming more.
Sometimes it's about increasing your capacity to hold.
A wider container can hold more light.
Deeper roots can hold through stronger winds.
A broader canopy can shelter more life.
The same applies to us.
Can we hold curiosity a little longer before rushing to conclusions?
Can we hold another perspective without losing our own?
Can we hold both wonder and inquiry?
Maybe the question isn't, "How can I become more?"
Maybe it's,
"What container in my life is ready to grow with me?" 🌿
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Where have you noticed your own capacity expanding lately? 💚
