If You Want 2026 to Be Different, Rewrite Your Business Rules, Not Just Your Goals
Most people start a new year by setting new goals. Bigger numbers. Better plans. Higher expectations.
But very few stop to question the rules they are operating by. The rules about how quickly decisions are made. The rules about what gets approved. The rules about what you personally get involved in and what you let go.
New goals running on old rules usually create the same results with more pressure. So before you finalise what you want from 2026, ask yourself:
• What decisions am I still making out of habit, not strategy?
• Where am I tolerating things I should have already changed?
• What boundaries do I need to put in place to protect focus and energy?
I’ve seen this many times. When the rules change, behaviour changes. And when behaviour changes, results follow.
If you were to rewrite just one rule in your business this year, what would it be?
