Hey everyone! today I'm sharing how I rendered an exported Sketchup screenshot into an illustrated image + video in just a few minutes using RENDAIR 1️⃣ I started by uploading my Sketchup screenshot into chatGPT with the following prompt: "Render this screenshot image into an illustration style. The image shows the living room of an apartment with a view on the beach of few kilometers aways. The natural light is entering the room. The image shows a person sitting on the couch reading a book, while a toddler is playing on the floor near the tv. On the front right, there is a wood dining table." 2️⃣ Then I asked chatGPT to improve the prompt and use the uploaded screenshot as reference. Here's the more precise prompt it gave me: "Use the uploaded SketchUp screenshot as the composition and geometry reference. Preserve the exact camera angle, proportions, room layout, furniture placement, ceiling details, sliding glass door dimensions, TV location, dining table position, and all architectural elements. Do not alter the floor plan or move any objects. Transform the image into a high-end architectural illustration with a refined hand-painted watercolor and digital concept art aesthetic. Use soft brush textures, subtle ink outlines, delicate shading, and warm natural colors while maintaining crisp architectural accuracy. You've probably seen this amazing feat by a couple going around lately. 2 people climbed atop the Empire State Building and placed a flag (the guy proposed to the woman on the way there btw!). Anyway haha so with just a simple prompt on chatGPT, I changed the text on the flag :) Just asked chatGPT to replace the text with another one and...voila! I then used Rendair to generate a quick video from the image. Here's the prompt I used: "Camera low pans to the right showing two people—a man and a woman—standing atop the Empire State Building's spire, securing a large black flag with bold white text "RAYON IS THE NEW AUTOCAD." The flag waves dynamically from the steel mast, detailed metal supports and antennas visible on the structure. Background features the blurred facade of a tall urban building, warm daylight casting natural shadows, high angle view focusing on the iconic Art Deco architectural spire, realistic photorealistic style, sharp detail on figures and flag fabric movement." The result is not perfect but does the job!

I uploaded my original Sketchup screenshot and asked chatGPT to generate a more precise prompt based on my simple original one. I asked to use the reference image and to make it photorealistic: PROMPT: "Transform the provided architectural sketch/reference image into an ultra-realistic, high-end architectural visualization while preserving the exact camera position, composition, perspective, building massing, pool dimensions, circulation paths, furniture layout, and all architectural elements shown in the reference.
