Tell us what brought you here. 🎉 I'll go first 👇🏻 I'm Michelle — the physician, weight-neutral coach, yoga teacher, and Body Trust provider behind this community. I built Enough, Already because I lived through the exhaustion of knowing all the right things and still not being able to find the peace with food and my body I was searching for. I'm a woman in midlife, navigating perimenopause, and rediscovering what it means to feel at home in my own skin. This community is as much a part of my journey as it is yours. First guided meditation is up!
Thanks to all who attended the first guided meditation. The replay is up in the Guided Meditation classroom. To respond to your questions, I will record a video explaining why I teach mindfulness meditation specifically - there is an abundance of research to show it helps us do exactly what we're trying to do here: avoid burnout, come back to ourselves, and heal our relationship food and/or body. We will also do some guided visualizations in some of the sessions. I find this super helpful for connecting to the vision of who you want to be. To become that version of ourselves, we have to start doing things differently than the way we did them to get us here. Visualization is another great meditation tool for us here. I'd love to know if you have a meditation practice already. If you do, share what benefits you've noticed. And if you don't, share what's holding you back from starting.
