Wellbeing Wednesday: Confidence Comes from Preparation
With exams approaching, it’s completely normal for students to feel pressure, uncertainty or even self-doubt.
What many students don’t realise is that confidence isn’t something you either have or don’t have. It’s something you build through small, consistent actions.
Confidence grows when students:
• Practise regularly
• Become familiar with exam questions
• Strengthen their skills step by step
• See their own progress over time
Even just 20 minutes of focused practice a few times per week can make a huge difference to how students feel and perform.
Parents, do you have any other nuggets of advice you can advise our teenagers with?
