Grammar Tip of the Week: present perfect
Many learners say this wrong πŸ‘‡
❌ I am here since 2 years
βœ… I have been here for 2 years
βœ… I have been working here since 2023
Because we use present perfect with β€œsince/for” when something started in the past and is still true in the present moment.
Think of it as a bridge between the present and the past.
Try writing a sentence with "for".
Then rewrite it with "since"
