Grammar Tip of the Week: present perfect

Many learners say this wrong 👇

❌ I am here since 2 years

✅ I have been here for 2 years

✅ I have been working here since 2023

Because we use present perfect with “since/for” when something started in the past and is still true in the present moment.

Think of it as a bridge between the present and the past.

Try writing a sentence with "for".

Then rewrite it with "since"
