🌿 Self-Care Saturday
Today, I just want to gently remind you… Self-care doesn’t have to look like a full routine, a plan, or something extra to add to your day. Sometimes self-care looks like: – lowering your expectations – taking something off your list instead of adding to it – sitting down for a few minutes without doing anything – choosing rest without guilt Especially when life feels full or overwhelming. It’s not always about doing more… sometimes it’s about doing less, more intentionally. --- This is what self-care has looked like for me… Yesterday, it looked like tidying the house before I went out, so I could come back to a calm space. Today, it’s been having a little bit of a lie in while my son is at my parents’ 🤍 It’s also been doing a quick tidy downstairs, so that later we can just come home, relax together, and have a cosy movie night. And this morning, it’s been sitting with a hot cup of tea, having breakfast, and ticking off a few small admin bits… like ordering the dog’s food and sorting school shoes. Little things that help future me feel a bit more supported. --- So today, I’d love you to gently ask yourself: What would feel supportive for me today… not what should I be doing? 🌈 Feel Good Friday
Today I’m feeling really good 🤍 I’m feeling happy, grateful, and honestly quite blessed after yesterday. I ran my first in-person Finding Steady Ground session at Grace House, supporting parent carers in my local community… and it was just lovely. It was so special to see the shift in the room, even in a short space of time. To see people soften, breathe, and have a moment for themselves. Moments like that remind me why I’m doing this. And today, I’m also feeling good because I’m heading out tonight with my best friend and my sister 🤍 Simple, easy time together… and no hangover tomorrow, which is always a win! --- I’d love to know… What’s making you feel good today?
