When you know it but can't feel it yet
You can know something is true and still not feel it in your bones.
You know you're enough. You've read it, written it, said it to yourself in the mirror. And yet — there's still this quiet hum underneath, this subtle bracing, like part of you didn't get the memo. 💛
That gap isn't a failure. It's not because you're not trying hard enough or haven't done "enough work." It's because the mind and the nervous system are two completely different systems. One processes words. The other processes experience, safety, sensation. And the body won't just believe something because you decided to think it differently.
This is where I've seen the most transformation in myself and the women I work with — not in the realisations, but in what happens after them. The slow, patient work of letting the body catch up. 🌿
Breathwork does this. Somatic work does this. Sitting with discomfort instead of explaining it away — that does this too.
If you've been wondering why you "know" something but it hasn't shifted the feeling… you're not broken. You just haven't reached the body yet. 🌸
What's something you know about yourself that you're still waiting to actually feel? Drop it below if you want — sometimes naming it is the first step. 👇
