- Reward your engaged subscribers. Early access, exclusive discounts, gamify it. Make them feel special.
- But the cold subscribers? The ones who havenāt opened or clicked in 90 days? Theyāre just taking up space.
I use Kit (formerly ConvertKit), and they mark these folks as ācold subscribersā after 90 days of radio silence. If someoneās ignored 12 weekly emails, are they really worth keeping?
Hereās my routine:
- Weekly: Remove bounces, complaints (hopefully none!), and unsubscribes.
- Monthly: Filter out cold subscribers.
