Biggest bull elk of my life! He gave me a solid shot at 60 yards. I got both lungs and the liver so it was a little bit far back. It took him about 45 minutes to expire. We were able to watch him give up the ghost 👻 It’s important to glass and look at your shot placement. It will determine how soon you start to trail or how much time you need to give the elk. Luckily, we were able to watch him be down and just keep an eye on him from about 400 yards away.

Had the opportunity to go hunt and harvest a decent bull. Grateful to fill the freezer!
