My name is Zhonvieve Ellison, founder of Eleven45 Candle Co., a Black woman-owned business based in Atlanta. I started making candles during the pandemic as a way to bring peace, creativity, and balance into my life. What began as a personal escape grew into a purpose-driven business that now empowers others to create with intention. Eleven45, named after the time my daughter was born, represents love, resilience, and new beginnings. Each candle is hand-poured in refillable concrete containers — eco-friendly, safe, and designed to last. I’ve taught over 80 students through workshops, classes, and private pour parties, blending education with creativity. Through this community, I’m here to share everything I’ve learned — from vocabulary and starter kits to advanced techniques like making your own concrete vessels. Whether you’re a hobbyist, a maker, or simply searching for calm, you’ll find a supportive space to learn, create, and shine.
