You Don't Practice Because You're Motivated You're Motivated Because You Practice
Hey gang,
BIG lesson today: Dive in!
Waiting until you feel inspired to practice is backwards.
Psychology shows that motivation usually follows action, not the other way around. You take a small action, see a tiny improvement, and that improvement creates momentum.
In music terms:
  • You don’t feel confident → so you avoid practice
  • You avoid practice → so you never feel confident
The loop only breaks when you act before you feel ready.
You don’t need a breakthrough; you need a starting point that your brain doesn’t resist.
