"Can't" being used metaphorically... I haven't been able to figure out how to get gigs on my own that well or efficiently. @Kj Sawka I could use your help here. I've messaged people and maybe I just need to do more follow up but I would really love to get more DJ gigs and experience. I don't know what the hell to say to businesses that I approach. I don't have that much experience yet but I can definitely DJ and have done it for events I don't know how to sell it though or what to send. Same with music gigs. What do I say? "Hey, I want to play at your venue for money. How can we make this happen?” That's the most simple version I can think of lol. What would it take to play here? What could I say to not get stuck in email hell and waiting for email and get something booked? I feel like I need help being held accountable and maybe going over what I need to do and build to have consistent gigs in this area. I have an issue where people are interested or they'll book one gig but not more than 1 even if it goes well, or they'll book it WAYYY later. Or they'll book it after a LOOOT of chasing. Anyways, I'm looking for guidance.

Hey guys! I had my first call w/ KJ and decided to join the group, so now it's time to get to business. My plans for now are: 1. Rebuild momentum with production and start working on 1 song at a time. Currently I want to finish my song "Say Hello". It's a song about sex without actually saying the word sex. Pretty rock and roll right? lol. 2. Keep busking during the day and collecting followers and getting feedback. 3. Use this group for posting and accountability and hopefully network and feedback and learn more about you guys and join the group calls 🙂 I'm also going to perform at my friends birthday this week in Lisbon, and I should try to do more outreach in general.
