NEW CLASSROOM!
I’ve been putting in some focused work behind the scenes to expand what’s available to you in the classroom tab. I've been building out new course areas and leadership development spaces that are meant to help you grow faster, gain meaningful experience, and feel more prepared stepping into your next role. When you head into the Classroom tab - You’ll notice a broader range of content designed to support you in real, practical ways. There are opportunities to engage in leadership experiences right at your own school, along with guidance around managing staff and leading people effectively. You’ll also find support around operational systems and how to respond when things don’t go as planned, as well as deeper work on instructional leadership—things like walkthroughs, coaching, and using data with purpose. Beyond that - There’s a strong focus on building and sustaining school culture, improving morale, and navigating behavior and climate challenges. And to support all of this, I’ve added a collection of documents, templates, guides, and frameworks you can actually use not just read. This isn’t about sitting back and watching videos. It’s about taking action, building your skill set, and strengthening your leadership profile in ways that matter. Take some time to log back in, explore what’s new in the Classroom tab, and if you haven’t introduced yourself yet, jump in and do that too. Your next jump in your career might be closer than you think. Welcome back to the Lab!

Admin Summer Prep
One way to learn more about how to close out the school year as an AP, without being an AP, is to shadow one after the teachers leave. What summer growth are you planning to do to move you closer to your goal of becoming an AP?

Interviews
It's that time of year where new APs are starting to be announced. Did any of you apply to any open positions? If not why? If you did apply and didn't get the position, why do you think that is? Let's talk about it.
Cellphones in class
Should highschool students be allowed to have cellphones in class? If not, how would you enforce this as an administration team? What would be the consequences, if any, "when" students being them to class? https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/atlanta/georgia-high-school-students-will-no-longer-be-able-use-cellphones-class/Q3QTMWC75ZDIRHRAGXZM43NU7U/?utm_campaign=trueAnthem_manual&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwdGRjcAQuwt9jbGNrBC7CkGV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDDM1MDY4NTUzMTcyOAABHl2B5zWzuu-qOW84QZ4GYruiOlwi5eBulLOOQq8dIxNMoBm51xR6Gs4D3M4U_aem_rA7z013XyyRH5TFyLEIWhA
