Hey everyone
I’ve been going through product ideas for a new niche store, and something keeps happening over and over again, I keep seeing amazing products with strong demand, great margins, and killer aesthetics… but I end up skipping them simply because they fall into the “shipping complications” category.
You know the type: Fragile pieces that can break if you look at them wrong or Bulky home items with weird dimensions or Anything containing liquid or Items needing special packaging or extra padding or Products that most suppliers claim they can ship safely, but reviews tell another story.
The crazy part? I know stores out there making absolute BANK selling things that are way more complicated to ship than the “simple” items we beginners tend to run toward.
So here’s my question:
If you were just starting out, would you avoid these complicated products or embrace them?
Also, Has anyone here successfully scaled with fragile/bulky/liquid items without drowning in refunds and damaged-item complaints?
I’m trying to figure out whether I’m being strategic… or simply too scared to deal with potential logistics drama.
