I've created this Skool to celebrate wins, share notes and keep each other accountable in our space building journeys. So I thought I'd tell you more about the system I created to help me through my first home purchase. I built a full real estate OS in Notion to project manage my entire homebuying workflow, from the full contract and renovation process (seen here) to R&D, deal finding and comp tracking. What started as a few notes scribbled into Notion turned into a full system using the best of Notion's features, powered by Notion databases and by Claude. The databases helped me to envision my entire journey as if I were my own project manager, breaking down daunting projects into trackable steps by timeline, priority, stakeholder and dependencies. This went from a "hey, here's a fun productivity tool" nerd-out session to real results: A new home designed the way I like it! I closed with the truly phenomenal Kasia Vermiglio at Humble Bee Realty with a great seller concessions package, then immediately turned the same system toward the renovation. I'm now acting as my own GC, having supervised 8 renovation projects in under 90 days; from roof replacement to electrical upgrades, and am doing my own sourcing for a 3/4 bathroom addition. My mentor and superstar design consultant Abigail Meyer envisioned my space every step of the way, which genuinely leveled up my whole process.
