Eastern Sun Archery is a range located just outside of Austin, Texas dedicated to the study and practice of Asiatic archery.
My name is Ali and I have been training in Asiatic Archery since 2019. Along the way, I've had the pleasure to train under multiple teachers and practitioners including Armin Hirmer, KTA Grandmaster Choi Banwoljeong, among many others.
This community was created to bring together archers interested in:
• thumb draw and instinctive shooting
• traditional bow culture
• historical martial archery
• disciplined training,
• and the continued growth of the art
Whether you are completely new to Asiatic archery or are already deep along the path, you are welcome here.
So grab a bow, pull up a chair by the fire, and join us. There's always more to learn, more arrows to loose, and good company with whom to share the journey!
