My Defense Testimony
My Defense Testimony Before Christ, I was a completely different person. I was broken in ways I couldn’t explain. My life felt destroyed, and because of that pain, I was on a path that caused even more destruction. I carried wounds, anger, and emptiness that shaped how I lived. I didn’t know my worth, and I didn’t believe anything good could come from me. But the Word says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). Even when I didn’t see Him, He was already reaching for me. When I surrendered my life to Christ, everything changed. I became saved. I became loved. I realized I am valued and worthy not because of who I was, but because of who God is. 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds me: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” He gave me a new identity, a new heart, and a new way of living. I was reborn with different values, a beautiful life, and a kindness I never had before. Today, God is my strength. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1). He is my oxygen the very breath that keeps me moving forward. “For in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). He is my truth when the enemy tries to lie to me. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). He is my Alpha and Omega, the One who began my story and the One who will perfect it. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end” (Revelation 22:13). My hope is anchored in Him because He took a broken, lost person and rewrote my future. “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” (Hebrews 6:19). And today, I trust Him with everything in me my life, my decisions, my healing, my path. Proverbs 3:5–6 declares: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” This scripture is not just a verse to me it is the way I live. God directs my steps because I surrender them back to Him.

Defense Testimony Homework
Who I was: To say who was, I would have to know, to be able to explain. You see, I had no identity, confused by religious requirements that punished me for my mistakes. Raped at 15 yrs old, and a suicide survivor at the age of 16, death was all I wanted. I had no bond with my earthly father so I couldn't believe that I had a heavenly father that cared. I looked for love anywhere it was given even if it came with a price. Abused physically and emotionally by men in my life, including my own father as a full grown adult. Punishment was the language I knew. Hopelessness , sadness, and despair, and discouragement were at my door constantly. Feeling of being a failure drowned me as I slept at night, and there was no end in sight. What Christ did Christ came and revealed who Je was in my life. And He gave me His identity, He told me that my mistakes are forgiven, and covered me with love . He said that death is not the answer and reminded me of (Revelation 1:18, NIV) "I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades." He also reminded me that God is a perfect Father who completely makes up for any pain or failure, I may have experienced in an earthly relationship, which He proves in Psalms 27:10; "Though my father and my mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me." ( NIV) Who I am now Now, I know who I am becoming. As a child of God I am taking on my new identity. Though trails and tribulations come I have learn those are just distractions. I am highly favored and blessed. God has and will always keep His promises in Psalms 23- The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
