The clarity I have got from this community has provided the answers I've been looking for. I know exactly what stage of training I'm at and the video review of me working my dog has highlighted where I need improvement.

I can't recommend Coach Casey's training enough! He not only has a tip for every challenge I've encountered with our new puppy (and the tips work!), but he is also incredibly supportive. "Progress, not perfection", in a nutshell. It's great to have a trainer who can give me perspective on which commands are the most important, and how to train for them, AND who is rooting me on every step of the way!.

Really glad I am in your group and here is why. Recently cared for a soft-coated Wheaton Terrier. This gorgeous dog was highly prey driven as in I could not distract her from taking her eyes off my cats. Hyper focused on the cats, barking after them and wuld not give up. She kept getting in Lu's space in a way that was not good--in a volatile way without any warning. I ended up keeping her on a leash in the house for safety. I remembered reading tha tthese dogs can be difficult t train.
