Minor Problem
It late morning when we return to village market. Precious insist not needing time to recover and desires to busy himself in work. However, this one is surprised to hear that he desires to stay near Mystplaced Wishes rather than model for a time. This one confused but is grateful for his presence. His accident was scare. This one ensured he is unharmed and unmarked from fall but keeps makeshift bandage with salve in place - in case. And Precious not protest? Strange but helpful.
A little funny to gather scattered stall after wild throw from desperate run. We laugh now. Better to laugh than focus on dread of moment.
Fabric easy to find - merely kicked by crowd against wall. A little dusting and good as new - at least decent enough for stall. Precious insists to carry on his own. This one both impressed and surprised by how fast he grow. How strong he is now. This keep up he be harder to carry and hoist on shoulders. This one can't think of that now. Bittersweet is not preferred flavor.
Yet, it seems this one does not know her own panicked strength.
"Eh, is only minor problem."
Precious gently shakes his head mildly amused as we see that crate thrown into alleyway is untaken yet not the same. This one thought old crate was sturdy but large crack splits side while threatening to spread. One large wish or leaning customer could cause its utter destruction. And broken stall bad for business.
Precious suggests using fabric on ground for business, plenty of space and more restful.
This one shakes head, "Some places is norm, not here. Here without stall or stage we look like begging or place to walk through. Too easily overlooked. Stall claims space, makes presence, creates atmosphere, and offers passerby's more accessibility. Turns gawkers to customers."
Precious imagines repairing it to functionality.
"Perhaps, unless split grows. But... if we get ahead of it, maybe! However, skill and tools required may cost much."
Precious snorts, reminding this one of his gold we finally conceal.
"That is yours for days worse than this!" this one softens her tone, "Your heart generous, Precious, and this one couldn't be prouder. It is incredible quality but not one that should be used without discretion. Coin can't be every solution. Used unwisely it create greater problems and unhealthy reliance. Some things it help, but mind need to be sharp, thinking and seeing beyond easy paths. They offer little growth. You need be growing in body AND mind. You need think creatively regarding challenges big and small. See money as resource but not singularly so."
This one smiles, "Perhaps this good opportunity for you. How would you solve, Precious? Without money, without suggestion or aid, with your only wit and prowess. What remedy you find?"
This one can tell Precious is firstly annoyed but his mood shifts as well as the concepts within him. He change from frustration at denial to willingness to charge challenge. A question arises and now it's this one's turn for gut check.
"Hm. Very well, however you'd like - as long as it does not take from or require too much of another. We only needing something to keep business over ground. This one gives creative say to you. This one trusts you."
Precious swells with pride and rushes into this one's arms. He presses his head against jaw under chin and this one cannot help but hold him so tightly. Her heart is warm with boundless joy, trust and a small portion of shock. We in the middle of town and Precious not hiding affection. This one feels eyes warm with tears but they are not permitted to fall.
This one squeezes him once more before showing him confident smile and stroking his handsome face, "Show us your capability!"
Precious holds head high and proud before dashing away.
Tears not heeding instructions. Heart warm and beaming, face warm and wet.
