Taking a moment to myself .....

I am sure so many of you can relate to this.... 🙏🏼 And sorry if I can't post this.

It's been three years today since this amazing friend grew her angel wings. It's a really hard time for me (not wanting pity or anything 😞)

She came into my life when she was very poorly and only 8 weeks old, just tied up at the vets and left on a cold Sunday morning.

She picked me out of eight people in the room, and I said...well I guess your coming home with me then!! I was not even looking for another furbie.

I did not have a name for her so I called her Puppie, saying it's ok we will find a great name for you....she remained Puppie lol.

15 years she was my best friend, she would sit with me and listen to me, never answer me back, never leave me, saw me through some terrible times. It broke my heart to say goodbye to her.

Her favourite things were listening to kids playing, particularly with a tennis ball, or any ball for that matter, and she loved to watch the sun come up or go down with me.

The evening she grew her wings, we were in the garden, I called her in for a cuddle, and she put her head on my chest, we were watching the sun down, while the kids next door were playing ball. A perfect time for her, and that's when she grew her wings, in my arms and enjoying her favourite things.

I don't want this to be a sad post but one of celebration, as I remember all the fun things we did together 🙏🏼🙏🏼
