My name is Themba Mkandla.
I come from Johannesburg, South Africa.
I help entrepreneurs access startup or growth funding for their businesses.
A huge obstacle that I face when helping new entrepreneurs get funded is the lack of traction in their businesses. They are not able to demonstrate market acceptance for their offers. If that obstacle can be tackled, funding access for them will become as easy as ABC. Then their businesses will be better placed to grow and make the impact they need to make in the communities where they work from. It is this obstacle that I need to tackle to help my customers get the funding they need.
There is a huge number of small business owners that are registered with authorities in my region. The impact most of these small businesses have on communities in terms of job creation is minimal. This is because these small businesses are not growing, they struggle to get the traction they need to scale up. It is this huge gap that I am addressing. The opportunity is probably worth billions if addressed adequately. This is where I am taking this to.
