So apparently “the” groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, saw his shadow today, which means there will be six more weeks of winter for most of the country. But not here in Arizona! Our rattlesnake prognosticator Agua Fria Freddie is said to have seen his shadow today as well, but Arizona likes to be different. For us it means an early spring. It’s already been beautiful here in Northern Arizona, so I guess I’ll take that. Sorry though for those folks whose weather isn’t quite as nice right now! Tomorrow marks the five week anniversary for the DIY Website Fix-It Club. Your increased participation in the Community posts has been great! Whether you use a groundhog, rattlesnake, or other species for your weather predictions, I’d like to predict another six weeks (and beyond!) of growth and engagement for our DIY Website Fix-It Club Community! I’m really excited for the contributions to the group and really appreciate your participation. My sincere apologies for the delayed responses to your posts. I am reading everything you have contributed so far and am in the process of responding to each one. Just like hiking up the trail, sometimes we get tripped up on an unexpected obstacle on our path, and this past week has been that for me. But, as I’ve mentioned before, the important part is that we get back up and keep going. I can’t wait to see us engaging more in the weekly Base Camp Q&A calls and Trail Checks, so please do join in those as you are available. I have been testing Wednesdays at noon Arizona time for our scheduled Q&A calls, but based on the low attendance there if another time during the week is better for your schedule please let the group know and we can coordinate. I want to hold these calls at a time you can actually benefit from being live with us. With any of this, myself included, the key here really is consistency in even the smallest of steps. You’ll be amazed at the momentum and how far you can climb! Just look at us, a little over a month ago the DIY Website Fix-It Club was just getting started, and now we’re up to 7 members strong!
