It is true your offer will be competing with present buying for people so what's your angle? The push to earn extra money FOR Christmas should be now and for a couple weeks. Then you'll need to pivot.
Focus on people planning for next year when all those credit card bills are due. The problems and pains they have now will still be there after Christmas. Bring attention to splitting up payments to buy the course (they already have that looser buying mindset with Christmas shopping) and call it "Buying the gift for yourself that keeps in giving" or " The Christmas present that pays for itself...and then some!". Angle it as them treating THEMSELVES.
