Opus 4.7 is live today ~ and this one actually hits different for the kind of work WE do.

Not a flashy rebrand. Real improvements where it counts.

Anthropic releases Claude Opus 4.7 ~ stronger at complex tasks, same price

Anthropic dropped Claude Opus 4.7 today and it's available right now across Claude.ai, the API, and every major cloud provider (Google, Microsoft, Amazon). It outperforms GPT-5.4 and Gemini 3.1 Pro on key benchmarks. The focus this time? Multi-step reasoning and agentic execution ~ meaning it handles longer, messier workflows without falling apart halfway through.

Now the honest part ~ Anthropic straight-up admitted that Opus 4.7 still trails their internal Mythos model. That one's locked behind closed doors, only available to a small group of handpicked tech and cybersecurity companies. So this isn't their best work. It's just the best work they're giving us.

Why it matters to you: If you're using Claude to build automations, run research chains, or work through complex content systems, 4.7 is going to feel more reliable and less like babysitting. Same price as before ~ no reason not to upgrade your workflow today and see where the gaps close.
