Budha's Enlightenment Day
Buddha Purnima (also known as Buddha Jayanti or Vesak) is the most sacred festival in the Buddhist calendar. It celebrates three major milestones in the life of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism: his birth, his enlightenment (Nirvana), and his passing (Parinirvana).
