"Day 1 and not one day" ✨
Today isn't just *a* day among others. It's not the "first day of the rest of my life"—a pressure that often stops us before we even begin. Today is simply Day 1. The real, honest, no-impossible-promises starting point. It's the act of planting one small seed of awareness.
📍 Physical Clutter: I chose one space. Just one. A drawer, a shelf, my laptop bag. Not the whole house. I looked at it, removed one thing that no longer serves me, thanked it, and let it go. That's it.
📍 Mental Clutter: I took a piece of paper and wrote down the "looping thoughts" that occupy my mind without permission. Then, I crumpled it up. Not to solve everything today, but to see that those thoughts could leave my head and take form. For a moment, they stopped racing.
📍 Soul Clutter: I took one long, intentional breath. Inhaling, I told myself, "I am here." Exhaling, I thought, "I let go." One single breath. That was my sacred space.
Detox isn't a punishment; it's a making of space. It's not about losing, but about rediscovering. The space to move, to think, to be.
This is Day 1. The only one that matters. And tomorrow? That will be Day 2. Another gentle step.
What's the first small area you'd like to clear?
