Lessons learned from liquidation event

I’m curious to what everyone learned about this liquidation event? A few friends had stables on different DeFi protocols not aave and they could not get to them to buy the deepest part of the dip. I also heard a few exchanges were not working properly.

I just sat tight and wished I was not so heavy in alts and am grateful I was in spot with no leverage.

In the future, it might be a good idea to set some stink bids- really low limit orders on tokens you want to buy.

Would love your guys lessons learned and what you would do differently in the future with this awareness?
