I see posts like the one below all the time. There’s either never data backing the approach or they’ve over analyzed themself into a buy that’s likely to underperform BTC over the next 12 months.

IMO this IS NOT the time to diversify into altcoins. Your probabilities of winning holding BTC are MUCH HIGHER. Wish I’d have known this 5 years ago. I’m not screwing that up again.

There will be a time for alts but it’s very unlikely to be this year.
